With r_picmip you can set the compression level for all textures in the game.
/seta r_picmip 3
“0” is for maximum quality and “3” is less quality (it is for maximum performance which uses less video card memory).
Values between: “0” to “3”
When r_picmip is set to “3” makes the texture somehow more sharp, the player models appears to be more sharp and they are standing out of the background. Also it makes your crosshair more sharp.
Because it uses less video card memory it might increase your fps.
